Abstract:

Generally most teams struggle with their centralised build. Being responsible for the build is often the least favoured role within a team. In this session Richard will walk you through the build process and talk about MS Build 4.0 and Team Build. He will clarify the relationship between MSBuild and Team Build and the look at how you can customise the build workflow and create your own custom build activities.

Richard Angus is a consultant based in Brisbane, Queensland. He has worked for a number of organisations, including banks and major international IT Consulting companies such as Unisys where he was involved in small and large scale projects across Australia, He is passionate about development and architecture, and currently provides consultancy services to organisations looking to improve their application architecture and development processes. He currently focuses on SharePoint and Architecture, and is a passionate believer that a good architecture can give an organisation a great return on investment.
