This month we have David Cook delivering an engaging session that he recently presented at the Agile NZ Conference in New Zealand.
How do you take a traditional waterfall company with software products and move from monolithic 12-18 month release cycles down to monthly releases? In this session we will look at a continuous improvement program from waterfall to lean with a goal of continuous delivery. We will look at the challenges faced, lessons learned and the success stories in how we introduced lean practices into a waterfall organisation from the ground floor.
David is a Microsoft Certified Trainer at TechnologyOne, one of Australia's largest ISV's. Over the past 15 years, David has been working with development teams in many large organisations within Australia and the UK in a range of industries such as Government, Banking and Finance.
