Tomorrow night (Thurs 16th April GMT+10) the April meeting of the QVSTSUG will look at the use of the Windows Installer XML (WiX) toolset with Team Build. User group VP, William Bartholomew will present a session entitled "Stop burning the candle at both ends with WiX and Team Foundation Build".

Session Abstract:

It's 4:15 pm on the last day of your release, the requirements have been collected, designs done, code cut, tests run, and documentation written. What do you mean you need an installer?!? In this session we'll build an installer using WiX and integrate it into your Team Build all before the clock strikes 5:00 pm.

Speaker BIO:

William is widely recognised as a leading Australian expert on the Visual Studio Team System (VSTS) suite and has been awarded as a Microsoft® Most Valuable Professional (MVP). He is the Vice-President of the Queensland VSTS User Group and has presented at numerous Microsoft events throughout Australia. He is also the co-author of Inside the Microsoft® Build Engine: Using MSBuild and Team Foundation Build published by Microsoft Press.
