This month, user group VP Richard Angus steps up to present a session on one of the great new features in TFS 2012. The session is very well timed with the expected RTM of TFS 2012 in the first week of August for MSDN subscribers. RSVP for the meeting now Abstract: Lab Management in TFS2010 offered many great features for teams in terms of automation of the Build-Deploy-Test (BDT) scenario. Unfortunately the configuration and infrastructure requirements often put this product out of reach for small teams. Come along to this month’s QALMUG to see Richard Angus demonstrate how the entry barriers to a full BDT scenario have been removed using standard environments in TFS 2012. During this talk, we will
  • walk through creating a standard Lab Management environment
  • walk through setting up pre-requisites for Lab Management build-deploy-test
  • Automate the build-deploy-test process using TFS Build, Microsoft Test Manager, and Visual Studio 2012
