Continuous Integration of SharePoint 2010 and 2013 - A Practical Guide

Richard Angus

Everyone loves to bash SharePoint development as being too hard (Hands up those who love SharePoint Development?), and SharePoint development has traditionally been placed into the "to hard" basket when it comes to automated testing and deployments. The rise of open web development and deployment tools has left SharePoint with a perception that it is just too hard to integrate into the "normal" development flow. This session aims to enlighten the average developer about the tools and techniques that can be used to integrate SharePoint 2010 and 2013 development into the dev/test/deploy workflow using either on premises or Cloud infrastructure.

Richard Angus is a SharePoint/TFS/Visual Studio consultant at Dev iQ with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. SharePoint has become a bit of a passion for Richard over the years since he first got introduced to it back in 2003, and he has dabbled on and off with SharePoint and its precursors (who remembers Site Server and CMS 2003?). Some say that I have Stockholm syndrome, and they may very well be right...
